A little bit about my own transition

Before starting my data scientist career, I was incredibly anxious about what to expect as a data scientist. I spent months perfecting my technical skills but couldn't shake off my perception of incompetency.

Then, it hit me! I learned many techniques without knowing when to integrate and apply them. Furthermore, I didn't fully understand how these techniques could generate value from a business perspective! Then, I read everything I could to connect the dots between business and data science. That's when my perspective on being a daily data scientist shifted: data science is a tool, and the ultimate goal of a daily data scientist is to help business grow. 

Passionate to help you navigate the unknown

For the past five years, I have mentored countless aspiring data professionals. The main complaint I repeatedly heard is the lack of experience. People asked me: how can you get experience if you have never gotten a job?! Experienced data scientists know that they do not know everything, but they manage to solve complex problems and create practical solutions that generate revenue for business. Gaining these insights during the transition helps you understand the expectations and thus gives you more confidence and competence when breaking into the tech industry. This is the reason why I founded Daily Data Scientist®.
